Liturgical Ministry
"As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God’s varied grace."
-1 Peter 4:10

By reason of our baptism, we are called to participate in the ministries of the liturgy, offering service to the Christian community. Some ministries are very visible to the community; others are more behind the scenes. Every ministry is important. Training is provided for each ministry and taking into account the person’s availability and Mass preference a schedule is prepared. How is God calling you to serve?

Sharing the Ministry

We are grateful that you have chosen to share your gifts and actively participate in liturgical ministry. Many liturgical ministers are required to serve with and for God’s people at Eucharistic liturgies. These liturgical ministries include: Minister of the Eucharist, Word, Music and Hospitality, Altar Server, Gift Bearer and Sacristan. Other liturgical ministries include Art & Environment Committee, Heavenly Cleaners, and new this year, the Funeral Ministry.

Liturgical Ministry Dress Guidelines
When ministering to others, Liturgical Ministers are the face of Christ for the assembly. The image we project reflects not only the dignity of the ministerial role, but our own personal dignity as well.
