Main Square Montessori is a non-profit learning center for children, age toddler through kindergarten, located in the heart of Winona, MN. We are a partnership between the Hiawatha Education Foundation and Cotter Schools, Inc.
 

WELCOME TO ST. MARY'S CAMPUS FOR 16 MONTHS-6 YEARS

Young of age and full of energy and curiosity, students at in early childhood classes and kindergarten on our St. Mary’s campus have a bright future ahead of them at Cotter Schools. They’re making countless discoveries, and we’re here to help them establish a foundation for learning and social interaction that will carry on throughout the years. 
 

WELCOME TO ST. STAN'S CAMPUS FOR GRADES 1-4

Today’s first grader is tomorrow’s fourth grader, steadily gaining skills and awareness in their academic subjects and the world around them. The St. Stan’s campus of Cotter Schools is abuzz with activities and opportunities.


  WELCOME TO  ST. TERESA'S CAMPUS FOR GRADES 5 & 6

Cotter Schools welcomed fifth and sixth graders onto the St. Teresa’s campus in John Nett Rec (second floor) for the 2020-2021 school year. Their academy journey continues into subject matter that will challenge and sharpen their creative problem-solving skills across all disciplines. Students can also participate in band and choir. 
 

WELCOME TO ST. TERESA'S CAMPUS FOR GRADES 7 & 8

Cotter Schools provides a safe learning environment where students in grades 7-8 receive individualized instruction and attention to their needs. Each student is unique and develops in his or her own way. Our faculty and staff recognize this and develop personalized learning plans to meet each student’s needs. 
 

WELCOME TO ST. TERESA'S CAMPUS FOR GRADES 9-12

At Cotter Schools, our mission is to challenge students to achieve their full potential and use their lives in service of others. Our interdisciplinary, liberal arts education helps students develop skills in critical thinking, collaboration, communication and creativity, preparing them to meet the needs of an ever-changing world.
