Our parish logo is a revised version of the one used here for several decades, which featured the Christian cross along with the device still found in the lower left quarter. Additional features have now been added to reflect our parish mission statement. One interpretation of the logo might go like this:
The cross is the symbol of “God’s partially faithful, yet wonderfully gifted people.” The green device resembles a place of gathering, representing our “call to heal, educate and connect all our brothers and sisters to our loving and forgiving God.” Additional symbols proclaim that “this call comes to us in Baptism [water], and is nourished through the Word [the Ten Commandments at lower left], Eucharist [grapes], and works of mercy and caring [heart].”
